profile
I came back to embroidery in earnest after I took early retirement from a working life in the finance industry. To be able to create something unique and of my own making was a delight. I initially joined a workshop group and subsequently did my City & Guilds. This opened yet more avenues to express myself, which needed to be explored once the courses were complete!
I try to explore different media, fabrics and threads and to push the boundaries a little. Presently working on mixed media pieces using Evolon as a basic fabric. This is a man-made fabric which if a delight to use.
My current designs are based on nature or what is around us.
